The symposium registration fee includes:

  • Access to all symposium sessions
  • Access to poster and exhibition areas
  • Abstract book available at the symposium and symposium documentation
  • Lunch and mid-session refreshments as scheduled in the preliminary program
  • Drinks reception on Sunday 11 October 2009

Optional Conference Dinner
The optional conference dinner will take place on Tuesday 13 October at SeaWorld (www.seaworld.com) and is open to all symposium delegates and their guests. The evening will include a lakeside patio reception and dinner in Sharks Underwater Grill. SeaWorld is a short drive from the symposium venue and coach transfers will be provided to and from the dinner venue. The cost of the dinner per person is $75 and tickets should be booked via the symposium registration form.

Author registration deadline
Accepted presenters should register no later than Friday 17 July 2009 to ensure that their material is included in the final program and the book of abstracts. Non-registered presentations will be withdrawn from the symposium program after this date.

Payment
Registration fees are payable in advance of the conference. In order to expedite the registration process, please complete the online registration form. Confirmation of your credit card payment along with registration confirmation documents will be sent to you by (air)mail. If you do not receive confirmation of your registration 7 days prior to the event, please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Alternative payment methods: For alternative payment methods other than credit card please contact the Conference Secretariat.

Cancellations
Substitutions may be made at any time but please advise the Symposium Secretariat of a change of name. If you find it necessary to cancel the registration completely, please notify the Symposium Secretariat immediately. Provided written notice is received by 31 August 2009, a full refund will be given less a 10% administration charge. Provided written notice is received 14 September 2009, a 50% refund will be given. It is regretted for registrations cancelled after 14 September 2009, or for no-shows at the conference, the full fee (100% cancellation charges) will be payable.

In the unlikely event that Elsevier shall deem it necessary to cancel the conference, all pre-paid registration fees will be reimbursed. Elsevier shall not be liable for reimbursing the cost of travel or accommodation arrangements made by individual delegates.

Changes
Details are correct at time of going to print. Elsevier reserves the right to change any session in the final program.

Photography
Please be advised that no photography or video/sound recording of conference presentations is allowed to take place during the conference.
